Postgraduate Diploma in Marine Insurance course delivered by distance learning

Every year there is a prestigious graduation ceremony held for all the successful students of the World Maritime University. On Sunday 2nd December 2012, students of the Postgraduate Diploma in Marine Insurance were invited to Sweden to attend the ceremony to be awarded their certificates. Please see below for details and pictures from the 2012 ceremony.

During the ceremony, the annual special awards to students were announced:

• Nadiya Isikova won the Lloyd’s Maritime Academy dissertation prize.

• Dinson Baack Vasquez won the Informa Law prize.

On Sunday, 4th December 2011, WMU’s Chancellor and IMO's Secretary-General, Mr Efthimios Mitropoulos, conferred postgraduate degrees on the World Maritime University’s Class of 2011.  Included in the event are those who have completed the Lloyd’s Maritime Academy Postgraduate Diploma in Marine Insurance.

Eight graduates from the WMU and Lloyd’s Maritime Academy distance learning Postgraduate Diploma in Marine Insurance course received their degrees, along with students graduating from the Malmö-based MSc programme in Maritime Affairs.
