The LL.M International Maritime Law continuation course allows students who have completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Maritime Law to continue their studies to the degree of LL.M.
It is also offered as a standalone programme to students who meet equivalent entry requirements.
On successful completion of the programme, students will have:
Providing an introduction to legal research and the writing of legally researched papers
Your opportunity to do a major, extended piece of research on a maritime law topic of your choice. The dissertation should aim to suggest a new way of thinking about and/or improved understanding of the topic you have researched.
Your final work will be between 15,000 and 30,000.

Competence in English: Where English is a second language you will be required to show evidence of ability by an internationally acceptable examination in English, or that a prior degree has been studied in English. Students who do not have a suitable test of English may be admitted on a probationary basis and allowed to proceed if their first piece of assessed work demonstrates that their language skills are sufficient.
