Captain Cliff Brand Bsc (Hons)


With an early career in the British Merchant Navy, progressing
to Master aboard bulk carriers, AHTS and other specialist
vessels in the offshore oil and gas industry, Cliff joined the
UK’s Marine Accident Investigation Branch as an Accident

In May 2015 he started as Group General Manager of Ras Al Khaimah Ports Group, and in January 2018 became CEO. Cliff Brand is a Fellow of the Nautical Institute, and a Younger Brother of Trinity House.

It is a very interesting course for anyone wishing to have clear concepts of the different kinds of surveys and claims in the shipping industry.
