Undertaking an MBA requires considerable commitment, not just from a financial perspective but also the time allocation required to complete it. By studying this programme online don’t be mistaken and think that it is an easy option.
The nature of a distance learning course requires you to adopt a disciplined and independent approach to your studies, you will need good time management skills and self-motivation. You will be expected to interact regularly, sometimes weekly, with your tutors and fellow students.

Application Checklist
In order for your application to be processed, the following supporting documentation is required. Applications missing any of the below will be considered incomplete and will not be processed.
1. Application form
2. Copies of degree and professional certificates
3. Payment for application deposit (£500)
4. Academic reference*
5. Work reference
6. Copy of passport page showing passport number and photograph
7. One passport photograph
*If you did not attend University, or if you did so over 5 years ago and you find it difficult now to identify an academic referee, you should seek a reference from someone else that can vouch for your learning ability, e.g. a supervisor.
Depending on your circumstances you may need to include the following:
a. GMAT score certificate (if applicable)
b. Copy of IELTS (or TOEFL) score notification (if applicable)
c. Written confirmation funding source (if applicable)
MBA in Shipping and Logistics Course Fees
Total programme fee is:
* For applications received on or before 14th June 2013: Fees £13,500 (VAT exempt)
* For applications after 14th June 2013: Fees £14,000 (VAT exempt)
The fee can be paid in five instalments.
The fee includes all learning materials and electronic versions of the compulsory texts.
A £500 deposit is payable at the time of applying and applications submitted without this will not be processed. The deposit will be deducted from the total fee once your application is approved and is refundable to non-successful applicants.

What happens after you submit your application?
Application deadline is Friday 9th August 2013
Applications must be received in full by this date to secure enrolment (subject to approval) in time for the start of the programme. Any applications missing necessary supporting documentation including the deposit on this date will not be processed.
The programme commences on 23rd September 2013
The programme starts with a compulsory two week induction module. This provides you with the opportunity to access and familiarise yourself with the online learning portal and the resources available to you throughout the programme. There will be short exercises during this period to introduce you to the syllabus, the faculty and your peers.
