The first international qualification for marine surveyors, this course is designed primarily to recognise the valuable and important work that marine surveyors around the world carry out. It also aims to help recruit future surveyors from both seafaring professionals and non-seafarers that have the academic ability and the interest in learning marine surveying skills. Since 1998 over 1,000 students have enrolled in the course. Successful completion of the course also offers the opportunity to go onto further study at a higher level.
