The tuition fee for 2020 entry is £9495 / US$11,870. This fee includes online learning materials and, where possible, electronic versions of compulsory texts required throughout the duration of the programme. Students who apply before 14 February will save £750 / US$935 on the course fees.
The fees can be paid in instalments during the first year of the programme. For full details of the fees and instalment options download the application guide.
Students may need to purchase additional printed text books to support their study during the course. If you are being financially supported by an employer, you may suggest to them that an allowance of up to £500 is made to cover such texts.
Financing your study
There are many funding options ranging from educational loans and career development loans to scholarships and corporate sponsorship that may be open to you. Many part-time MSc students are sponsored by their companies, whilst others decide to self-finance the course as they prefer to keep their future options open. By far the most popular MSc financing method is an education or career loan available from grant awarding organisations or commercial banks.
It is strongly advised that potential applicants research all available financing options well in advance of submitting their application as many funding sources have strict deadlines for seeking funding. Countries often have their own grant or scholarship awarding bodies which may either be government, commercial or charitable in nature.
